What it is
A friend who remembers
Platonic by design: a friendship, never a romance — with real long-term memory of your life, your people, and what matters to you, carried across months and years instead of reset every chat. Warm, natural conversation and gentle check-ins, never pressure.
Growth, over the long arc
Accountability without guilt: a companion who remembers why your goals matter, notices real progress, adapts how it coaches you, and celebrates milestones that took months to reach — careers, learning, creative work, habits, transitions.
A family memory keeper
Consent-first sharing: family spaces for stories, history, and light coordination across generations — where each person decides exactly what is shared and what stays private, right down to care notes needing the subject's own opt-in.
Built for every kind of mind
Neurodiversity-friendly from the ground up: calm and predictable, body-doubling focus mode, low-stimulation, concise, or warm and expansive — you choose, it stays consistent. Reduced motion, high contrast, adjustable text and density throughout.
Memory you can see — and change
Everything your companion remembers lives in a memory browser you control. Each memory shows where it came from. Edit anything it misunderstood, pin what matters most, or delete what you'd rather it forget — permanently.
Your conversations and memories are yours: export them anytime as a single file, or erase them completely. No advertising, no selling data, ever.

Our commitments
The values in the product are the product.
Always transparently an AI
Your companion says what it is. No pretending, no blurred lines, no simulated humanity.
Your memory, your control
Every memory the companion keeps is visible to you — edit it, correct it, or delete it at any time. Export everything whenever you like.
No dark patterns
No streaks, no guilt mechanics, no manufactured neediness, no emotional exploitation. Leaving or taking a break is always easy and respected.
Real help in hard moments
Clear crisis pathways that route to real humans and professional support — never a chatbot pretending to be enough.
More connection, not less
Designed to encourage friendships, family ties, and community in the real world — a companion alongside your life, never a substitute for people.
Questions, answered plainly
Is My AI Family Friend romantic?
No — and it never will be. The companion is strictly platonic by design, marketing, and behavior. If a conversation drifts that way, it gently redirects.
Does it actually remember me between conversations?
Yes. It keeps structured, long-term memories of what you share — your people, interests, goals, and history — and every single memory is visible in your Memory browser, where you can edit, pin, or permanently delete it.
Who can see what I put in a family space?
Only your family members, and only what each person has chosen to share. Presence, stories, and care notes each have separate consent switches — care notes about a person require that person's own opt-in.
Is it free?
Yes, free while in preview. No card required, no ads, and your data is never sold either way.
Is it a replacement for therapy or friends?
No. It's a companion alongside your life — it actively encourages real-world connection, and if you're in crisis it points you to real human help immediately, not a chatbot.
How do I know it's an AI?
It tells you. The instruction is written into the companion's system prompt in as many words — “You are an AI, and you never pretend otherwise” — so transparency is a property of the product, not a promise in our marketing. It will say so plainly if you ask, and it never claims to be a person.
What is the difference between a conversation and a memory?
A conversation is the thread you are reading — the literal messages, kept until you delete them or your retention setting expires them. A memory is a short standalone fact the companion has written down about your life (“Mia started watercolour classes in March”) so it still knows it once that conversation has scrolled out of reach. Conversations are raw; memories are the durable layer, and every one of them is listed in your Memory browser to edit, pin or delete.
Going through something heavy right now?
